Academic Coursework – 230 Hours
Our academic content aligns with AMS and MACTE standards and integrates current research in early childhood development and adult learning. The academic component is organized into interconnected modules that spiral across theory and practice.
Coursework includes:

Montessori Philosophy & Pedagogy: History, principles, sensitive periods, human tendencies, and the role of the prepared adult and environment.

Child Development: Prenatal to age three development across physical, cognitive, social-emotional, language, and spiritual domains.

Pedagogical Practice: Practical Life, Sensorial, Foundational Math Skills, Language, and Movement; observation and documentation; curriculum design and material presentation.

Professional Practice: Reflective supervision, ethics, leadership, and family and community partnerships.

Research & Innovation: Inquiry projects, reflective journals, and community impact studies linking theory to practice.
