
About TINI – Shaping the Future of Montessori Education
TINI (The Institute for Nurture and Innovation) is a Montessori Teacher Education Program and is an Applicant in Good Standing for its Infant/Toddler course in Houston, Texas, USA, and Harare, Zimbabwe, with the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE). Applicant in Good Standing status in no way determines the outcome of the accreditation decisions by MACTE.
TINI is an inaugural pilot program approved by the Teacher Action Commission at AMS, incorporating innovative practices for adult instruction, global outreach, and practicum options. TINI is pursuing AMS Affiliation.
TINI is dedicated to equipping educators with the tools to transform learning environments- from the classroom to home visits to prenatal work. Rooted in the Montessori philosophy, we foster an experiential, context-driven approach that nurtures curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love for learning for adults!

The Institute for Nurture and Innovation exists to innovatively prepare and empower Montessorians serving infants, toddlers, and their families across diverse professional roles. We are committed to expanding the reach of Montessori principles beyond the classroom—equipping not only classroom guides but also Parent Educators, Doulas, Early Interventionists, and Caregivers. Through a flexible, research-driven, and inclusive teacher education experience rooted in Montessori philosophy and adult learning principles, our mission is to cultivate highly skilled, reflective, and culturally responsive educators who lead with intention and impact in every space they serve.
